1 20AOût2015 v.3 Private Company MEMORANDUM OF ACCORD FOR WORK IMMERSION PARTNERSHIP This agreement is included in the agreement of, 20 in, from, from: The – , with school identification number a public high school, at the main address, represented in this agreement by its , , as legal age, (and- , duly constituted and registered in the Philippines, at the main address of this agreement, represented in this agreement by its , , ; of the legal age, as THE ENTREPRISE, WITNESSETH: CONSIDÉRANTING, as DepEd, the Philippine Ministry of Education, is the primary instrumentality of the state responsible for formulating, implementing and coordinating policies, plans, programmes and projects in the areas of formal and non-formal basic education, including , public and private, and the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive basic education; , provide an appropriate and integrated system of basic education relevant to national development goals; CONSIDERING that DepEd has implemented the K-12 Basic Education Reform Program, which includes senior high school (hereafter known as SHS), with the main objective of ensuring that graduates of basic education are ready for employment, entrepreneurship and higher learning; CONSIDERING that the SHS curriculum can be adapted at the local level to meet the needs of local industries and the labour market; CONSIDERING that DepEd believes that effective implementation of shs education requires partnerships between schools and industry, which provide the school with the skills and places needed for practical and enterprise training for SHS learners; CONSIDERING that the deped will begin implementing all HHS during the school year; CONSIDERING that the school is one of those that shs will offer to Community students in order to achieve the goals of implementing the SHS, as mentioned above; 5 2. Provide contributions to the program through deped discussions or workshops. 3. Give their expertise by making resident resource centres available to students. 4. Allow students to be deployed on the basis of the daily work programme of activities on the company`s various sections/departments/project sites. 5. Accept the required number of hours of the immersion program defined in the DEpEd SHS program. (see Appendix C and D) 6. Provide immersion opportunities for students for the school year (see Appendix C and Appendix D) 7. Give students guidance on the company, its activities and the work of its staff and expose them to the different players in the community in which THE ENTREPRISE works for students in order to gain a global understanding of their activity. 8.
In the same way, ensure that students take course-related training and provide students with work or activities that are multiple and applicable to their field of study. (9) make its employment and facilities available to students and, in the same way, takes all necessary measures to ensure the safety of students in their fields of activity at all times, including, if necessary, the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), which cannot be limited to the latter. Ensure that students are exposed to non-hazardous substances and work environments for the duration of the immersion. 10. Assess student performance at the dive site by using the 11 assessment tool provided.
